Responsibilities

The Project Manager, Specialty Programs will organize, manage, and plan complex projects for Specialty Program’s development, and product implementation efforts. 100% Remote role. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and co-lead an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project(s) on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency
  • Outline the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly
  • Prepare and implements a budget based on estimates
  • Conduct risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate)
  • Address questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project
  • Prepare presentations for executive project reporting
  • Track key performance indicators
  • Prater with key leaders to drive task performance
  • Act as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors
  • Communicate and collaborates with teams to provide training and information required to promote new projects, programs, and systems
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Three years of related experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with an innovative mindset to make quick adjustments to project deadlines or assignments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, which may include Business, Education, or Computer Science
  • Professional certification such as PMP or comparable project management certifications highly desirable
  • Risk Adjustment and/or Healthcare project management experience highly desirable
