Responsibilities

The Branch Director administers, directs, and coordinates all the activities of the branch. As a Branch Director you will:

  • Direct the installation of improved work methods and procedures to ensure achievement of objectives of the program
  • Ensure that the documentation of services provided is accurate and timely
  • Maintain an effective budgeting and accounting system that promotes the health and safety of the patients
  • Authorize the purchase of supplies and equipment
  • Ensure adequate staff education and evaluations        
  • Supervise and evaluate client satisfaction survey reports on all clients served

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience 

  • Associate's Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
  • Must maintain a driver's license and good driving record
  • At least two years of administrative or supervisory experience in home hospice care or related health program (hospital, nursing facility, or home health, etc.)

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience 

  • Certified Hospice and Palliative Nursing
  • Is a licensed physician, registered nurse, licensed social worker, licensed therapist or licensed nursing home administrator
